10 Facts About Me

1) I'm Married to My Best Friend

I met and married my college sweetheart in 2018. We met at Georgia Southern University at the GSU vs. Tigers game and my soon to be husband gave a fantastic first impression--but stealing all of my french fries and then my boiled peanuts (that I bought to replace the lost fries).

We started dating six months later and later walked across the stage together. We went on to get engaged in 2018 and later married. We were just 24 and 22 when we got married!

We've since been living happily ever after in our beautiful home with our corgi, Nugget and two cats--Bob and Piper.

2) I'm an Avid Hiker

My husband and I have been avid hikers for years, even before we met one another. Our passion for the outdoors was one of the things that brought us together. We have hiked all over Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, and Alabama. Our dream is to travel to Colorado and hike through Rocky Mountain State Park! Even our honeymoon we spent on the Appalachian Trail! Some of our favorite hikes in Georgia were Cumberland State Park and Amicalola Falls!

3) I'm a Corgi Mother

We first adopted our baby Corgi Nugget in 2018. We adopted him from Cook Arena Corgies, a local Georgia breeder that is approved by the American Kennel Club. I had long dreamed of having a corgi puppy, and had molded my life and time to be able to support that goal. Finally, after five long years, I was able to adopt a corgi. My husband Kevin came up with the name Nugget--because he looked like a chicken nugget lol.

Now, Nugget is a happy, healthy, and thriving corgi living his best life in our forever home!

4) I'm a HUGE nerd and Fangirl!

I've been a HUGE nerd and fangirl since I was 9 years old. 5) I'm Very Passionate About Mental Health Awareness

As a longtime sufferer of anxiety, panic disorder and depression, I am a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and care. I have seen many friends and family suffer the devastating effects of mental illness.

6) My Favorite Artist is Vincent Van Gogh

My favorite artist has been Vincent Van Gogh for years. My interest in his life, his art, and his struggle began as a child when I came the Museum of High Art in Atlanta to view a Van Gogh exhibit. Since then, I've been in love with Vincent's work. My favorite piece is the Irises and his sunflower series.

7) I Grew Up in an Old Southern Home

I grew up in an old southern home that had been in my family for years. I grew up on the historic estate and farm and spent time happily playing with our many farm animals and enjoying the sweet southern sun.

8) I'm a Parks and Rec Director

I'm currently working as a Park and Recreation Director in a town close to Atlanta. I love my job tremendously! With a degree in Public Relations and my current process to achieve a Masters in Public Administrations, I feel very happy in this position. I also may or may not have watched EVERY episode of Parks and Recreation from start to finish multiple times. I can confirm that in some ways...life is exactly like the show lol.

I have some of the most supportive, fun, loving, and kind friends and family in the world! What more could a girl ask for! They have been so important in my life through all of my ups and downs. They are all better than anything I could have ever asked for!

10) I Get Really Excited about Antiques
