Hello! Welcome to a brief insight into the weird mind of your blogger. I love doing lists and dropping random facts. It's kinda like walking into a room, screaming, and then running out lol. Just come in, drop a really weird fact about a serial killer and leave the party--memorable forever and hella hilarious.
So here's my random oversharing; my scream in a crowded room. Tell me some weird facts about you in the comments below! If you make me laugh, I'll feature you in a post!
So without further adieu let's get rolling.
Fact One: I'm obsessed with True Crime.
Like seriously, I have a problem lol. I'm obsessed with serial killers, true crime, detectives etc. I even have a serial killer coloring book (of their mugshots duh). But I can sit there for hours and just watch documentaries or tv shows about some of the worst aspects of humanity and the psychological dissection of their minds. It's calming lol.

Fact Two: I Watch Shows on Repeat
There is no show I could watch on repeat enough to make me hate it. I routinely watch shows on repeat for weeks on end. I know....pray for my husband. I have been told it is due to my high anxiety--because with those shows I know exactly what happens. Having the shows on in the background helps me to stay calm. The first thing I watched on repeat was Scream. I don't know why...
Fact Three: I Used to be a Total Goth
Like many millennial teens, I was sucked into the goth trend. With my love of black, witches, heavy metal, and punk rock I fit right in. However, being the only goth kid in a sea of Christian home-schoolers isn't exactly fun. You kinda get branded as the weird kid. Fair branding however, I am pretty weird lol.
Fact Four: Oh Yea, I Was Home-Schooled
Yea, as previously mentioned I was home-schooled for most of my school years. I started home-school at the end of my 3rd grade year. Before being home-schooled I was in a private school. My parent's reason for home-schooling me was my difficulty reading. I was behind in my reading and when my mother asked my teacher what needed to be done to help me--my teacher effectively told her I was stupid and therefore unteachable. Yea...my elementary school teacher told my mother I was stupid. Different times.
My mother started homeschooling me and one year later I was reading Sherlock Holmes and Charles Dickens. I'd say my awesome mom made the right choice! My standardized test scores were way better and I was back on track!
Being home-schooled wasn't bad, a little lonely sometimes, but I loved it. I made a bunch of lifetime friends in our co-op groups and I was more than prepared for college. Only side effect was a bit of added on weirdness lol.

Fact Five: I Have Weird Obsessions
World War Two, old TV shows, Morticia Addams, llamas, vintage horror movies, Jason Vorhees, pink, obscure Disney films, Godzilla, Halloween, the list literally goes on and on. I have a very weird interest in multiple things. One of the bigger obsessions is probably Mothman. My 26th birthday will be spent in Point Pleasant West Virginia at the Mothman Festival! Similarly, I collect unusual things. Things like old cameras, old photos, alabaster eggs, vintage music sheets, corgi themed things, and gnomes--LOTS AND LOTS OF GNOMES.
Fact Six: I'm Super Fond of my Plants
I inherited my mother's love of gardening and my grandfather's green thumb. I love plants and I get very attached to leafy babies. I make my own fertilizer based off the plants individual soil needs, I keep worms in my garden and often put out fertilizer that contains lots of yummy goodies for the wormy boys. I make toad houses and bee houses in my garden to help keep bad bugs away from my plants. I spend time every evening and every morning in my garden. I'm THE crazy plant lady.
Fact Seven: I Grew Up on a Farm
I was born and raised on a farm. My entire life I have been surrounded by cows, chickens, goats, ducks, and more. During my time living with my parents, I learned how to garden, milk cows and goats, care for chickens, ride horses, cut firewood, start a fire, hunt, grind grain into wheat, make various types of cheeses, can vegetables and jellies, and more. Farm life is hard work, but it is peaceful and fulfilling. I love visiting the family farm and continue to help milk the cows and goats.

Fact Eight: I'm a Beginning Carpenter
Living on the farm, you have to learn how to do a variety of things. One of those things is build or fix things. I learned young, that you either make what you need or you do without. My grandfather was an experienced carpenter and I am trying to hone my skill in that area. Thus far, I have kept to building tables, benches, and signs. I may be moving into building custom dollhouses for my daughters--if I'm blessed with baby girls!
Fact Nine: I Love Documentaries
LOVE THEM. If it's a good series with a great narrator, I'm in. I will watch documentaries about almost anything. The food industry? I'm watching. Air Crash Investigations? I'm watching. Shipwrecks? I'm watching. How things are made? I'm Watching. History of any kind? Oh yes I'm watching.
Fact Ten I'm a MASSIVE Star Wars Fan
I am a HUGE fan of Star Wars and have been ever since 2007. I have been a huge EU fan as well--even tho now that is no longer cannon. As a kid I had every action figure for Star Wars (I still have them) and all my legos were Star Wars. I had Star Wars posters, wrote Star Wars fan fiction, was a Wookieepedia editor, and more. I cannot even accurately describe the amount of Star Wars love I have in my heart. Someone once told me, after seeing my Star Wars obsession, that I'd never get a husband being so weird. Well...coincidentally when Kevin and I first started talking we went into a deep conversation about the latest Star Wars movie. He wondered if I was perhaps a "fake fan" and asked me who Plo Kloon was. I then launched into Plo Kloons entire history and ended by asking Kevin if he knew who Kia-Adi-Mundi was. He did not and I won that round ;). One year and a half later we were married!
I'm also a HUGE Star Wars fan who isn't thrilled with the ReyLo ship. Not hating on it, just not a fan.
And my favorite character was, is, and always will be, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
But there are my weird facts! What weird facts do you have? Post them in the comments below! Remember to follow us on the majors of social media and to have a GREAT DAY!
