Currently Pregnancy Edition

Physically: Dealing with round ligament pain. This is one of those things no one tells you about pregnancy. Your ab muscles literally detach from your body and the ligaments become stretched and distressed. Oh, and NOTHING helps this pain.

Symptoms: Fatigue, fatigue, fatigue, fatigue, nausea, nausea, nausea nausea!!

Craving: Grilled cheese. No other food will do. Grilled cheese for breakfast? SURE! Grilled cheese for lunch and dinner?? SUUUUREEEE! Oh and whole fruit popsicles! All the popsicles!

Listening To: Sabaton...my baby is going to be angry.

Thinking About: How to manage nausea at work...how does anyone make it a day without vomiting on their keyboard?

Aversion To: Literally anything and everything. Yesterday it was turkey bacon. Kevin attempted to make BLTs and my body was violently offended at the smell. Spent the rest of the evening locked in the bedroom away from the smell.

Feeling: Exhausted, moody, but loved and supported.

Watching: Court Cam and PD Cam....waiting patiently on the Son of Sam to be released on Netflix.

Reading: My Certified Playground Safety Inspector study book.

Working On: Giving myself slack, and understanding that I don't have to be superwoman.

Worried About: The 20 week anatomy scan. Not because anything has been said or suggested, but again I worry about making sure they are healthy.

Looking Forward To: Knowing if they are a boy or a girl! Our Gender Reveal is on the 24th of April and we are so excited to know what we will have.

Planning: Our Gender Reveal. We are going to say Aloha Baby!! We have been working excitedly to plan our reveal.

Exercising: Lots of pelvic floor exercises. Exercise while pregnant is hard, not only because you have to be careful what you do, but mainly because the fatigue is so debilitating. Also with round ligament pain a lot of exercises are extra, extra painful. I keep up my walks--but sometimes that doesn't happen due to sciatic nerve pain. My husband is putting in a pool for me so that will help a LOOOOTTTT.
